Spanish documents for an Indian company: legalisation and translation

CA Utsav Dogra, Chartered Accountant, ICAI M. No. 542375 · Updated

In brief

Indian authorities need the Spanish parent's mercantile registry certificate, its constitution, a resolution naming the investment and signatory, and identity papers for each director. Spanish notary and apostille. Sworn English translation is needed.

What is specific to Spanish companies

Spain and India are both apostille countries; private documents are notarised first. Sworn English translation is needed, and names and NIE or DNI numbers must match everywhere.
